2019年、メンバー全員が大学を卒業するタイミングで刊行されたissue no.5を最後に、しばらく休刊していたHIGH(er)magazine。
本号は、約5年ぶりの復刊号として制作された一冊です。ハイアーがプロデュースするアンダーウェアブランド「HEAP」のローンチを記念し、コンセプトマガジンとして制作されました。
テーマは “TEA PARTY（茶話会）”。
仲間とともにテーブルを囲み、お茶を飲みながら、他愛のないことから大切なことまで言葉を交わす時間。その対話こそが、すべての創作の原点であるという感覚に立ち返った号です。
身体や性について、当時の自分たちなりに向き合い、言葉にすること。それぞれの視点から交わされた対話が、本号の核となっています。
メインビジュアルには、ハイアーと親交のある俳優・石橋静河さんを起用。
また、さまざまなゲストとともに身体との付き合い方を探る連載「chat with us: BODY」では、初回ゲストとしてアーティストの津野晴嵐さんが登場。
さらに、『アートとフェミニズムは誰のもの？』の著者である村上由鶴さんによる、女性の解放について考える連載「Study on A」も、この号からスタートしました。
対話からはじまる創作と、身体をめぐる思考。
HIGH(er)magazineの転換点を象徴する一冊です。

HIGH(er)magazine Issue No. 6
HIGH(er)magazine had been on hiatus since Issue No. 5, which was published in 2019 to coincide with all members graduating from university.
This issue marks the magazine’s return after an absence of approximately five years. It has been produced as a concept magazine to commemorate the launch of ‘HEAP’, the underwear brand produced by HIGH(er).
The theme is “TEA PARTY”. It is a time spent gathered around a table with friends, sipping tea and exchanging words on everything from trivial matters to things of great importance. This issue marks a return to the sense that such dialogue is the very origin of all creativity.
Confronting and articulating our thoughts on the body and sexuality in our own way at that time. The dialogue exchanged from each individual’s perspective forms the core of this issue.
For the main visual, we featured Shizuka Ishibashi, an actress with whom HIGH(er) has a close relationship.
Furthermore, in the serialised feature ‘chat with us: BODY’, which explores ways of relating to the body alongside various guests, artist Seiran Tsuno appears as the first guest.
Additionally, ‘Study on A’, written by Yuzu Murakami, author of Who Owns Art and Feminism?, which reflects on women’s liberation, also began in this issue.
Creativity born of dialogue and reflections on the body.
This issue symbolises a turning point for HIGH(er)magazine.
